Rustic Sedis Railway Sleeper Bench

Designed for versatile installation on both concrete pads and soft ground, this bench seat offers maximum stability and security wherever it is placed. For lawn or garden bed setups, our In-Ground Leg Extensions add 300mm of length to the legs, allowing the frame to be securely buried or set into concrete. Ideal for farm homes ,public parks, commercial spaces, and high-traffic areas, this simple upgrade prevents tipping, deters theft, and keeps your investment firmly anchored for decades to come.

While our low-profile bench seats (at 360mm standard) are uniquely engineered for a deep, legs-forward, and reclined backrest of 15 degrees lounging experience, upgrading to an elevated 460mm seating height dramatically enhances daily ease and accessibility. This optional addition raises the seat to standard dining chair height, taking the strain off your knees and lower back when sitting down or standing up. We strongly recommend this thoughtful addition for elderly family members, guests, or anyone with mobility restrictions—allowing everyone to enjoy the relaxed, ergonomically reclined backrest with absolute comfort, independence, and peace of mind.

Secure your bench seat directly to solid concrete pads or paved surfaces with our industrial-grade Bolt-Down Bracket Kit. Constructed from heavy-duty 2.5mm galvanized steel, each 100mm x 50mm L-bracket features pre-drilled holes that attach easily to the bench frame using the included coach screws. Engineered for high-traffic public and commercial spaces, each kit provides two brackets along with concrete DynaBolts to ensure maximum stability, theft prevention, and weather resistance.

Recycled railway sleepers bring incredible historical character to your custom furniture, but they naturally arrive carrying years of accumulated soil, weathering, and organic residue. While our default builds leave the timber in its raw, rustic state, selecting this deep-cleaning service ensures your outdoor garden furniture arrives thoroughly refreshed, clean, and ready to enjoy. To achieve a flawless finish, our craftsmen fully construct your outdoor furniture, dismantle it to meticulously pressure-wash every face, edge, and corner of the timber, and then reassemble it with and prepare for delivery. We strongly recommend this essential add-on to strip away heavy surface grime, reveal the rich underlying grain, and deliver a clean, premium result for your home or garden.
